The Kwee-Jack fishermen are a week and a half into their time in Alaska, and already they have pulled in over a thousand pounds of salmon! They only started fishing a couple of days ago, after spending much of their time doing camp projects. The weather has continued to be fantastic, which has helped them get more done. I have checked the extended forecast, and it looks like it will be about 80 degrees when Nathan (another fisherman) and I arrive at camp!!
So, although the rain barrel isn’t getting much attention, everything else is going well for the guys. Joe already sounds exhausted, and they are really looking forward to having someone up there who can cook for them. So I am continuing to add to my grocery list of food to stuff into a 50lb box to get them through the last few weeks of the season.
Hoping and praying for full nets this year! Will continue to keep you updated 🙂
