Community Supported Fishery (CSF)

Lancaster, Pennsylvania

The Lancaster CSF is a family enterprise: a brother (Joe) who is a commercial fisherman in Alaska every summer, and a sister (Anna) who lives in Lancaster and shares the catch.

Each spring, shares of the upcoming summer sockeye harvest are available for online purchase before the summer salmon run starts. Each September, salmon shares that were purchased in the spring are picked up at scheduled CSF events.  Lancaster’s events take place in the heart of downtown (drive-through), and in a spacious country setting near 283/Harrisburg Pike.  More information about the Lancaster CSF pick-up events can be found here.
