Buying Clubs!
Do you have a group of seafood lovers that would like to have access to the very best in wild Alaskan seafood? We can get you setup with our Buying Club program.
WHY USE A BUYING CLUB: Transporting a perishable product such as seafood requires either expensive expedited shipping or refrigerated freight. Buying in bulk allows us to transport seafood to you at a more affordable cost per pound using refrigerated transport. This means your group wins with the best in seafood at a discounted price that is hard to beat.
HOW IT WORKS: We need a minimum order of 300lbs for a buying club. This equates to 15 people each ordering 20lbs. You bring us the order and we handle the logisitics of getting it to you. Most commonly this would involve your order showing up at a freezer warehouse in your area. You would then pick up your seafood shipment from the warehouse and bring it to your buying club to distribute it to the individuals in your club as necessary. Additionally, we have solutions to help manage orders and collect payment for clubs of all sizes.
HOW TO GET STARTED: Contact us at
[email protected] to let us know you’re interested! We need to know where you’re located and an estimate of how big your club is – either how many individuals or how many pounds of a particular seafood you think you would need. We would then take a look at the logistics and quote out pricing. As the volume of the order increases, we are able to offer a better price. If it looks like the buying club will be a good option for you, we’ll setup the best system for placing orders. Smaller clubs (15-20 people or less) generally will place one large order. Buying clubs larger than 20 people will have access to a secure portal where individuals in your club can login and place their orders directly. We will manage the records and the finances and will supply the buying club coordinator with the record of orders when it is time to distribute. Each customer will also have their own receipt and record of what they ordered.
HELPFUL TIPS: It does help to have one or two individuals as the point(s) of contact who are coordinating on behalf of the buying club. We will also need a drop point location – the most preferred method is a freezer warehouse. We’re pretty good at finding those, but if you know of a good place for a semi-truck to pull up and drop off your order, that helps. We also pack your order in pre-set quantities (example: 30lb boxes, 50lb boxes, etc.), so if you have individuals who want to order in a quantity other than what is being offered, you will need to have a scale and system for splitting the order up further on your end.
– Halibut orders run February 1st – Feb 21st. –
– Salmon orders run April 1st – May 25th. –
Orders placed after an order deadline are subject to availability and pricing changes.
