Wild Alaskan Smoked Salmon

Wild Alaskan smoked salmon with cheese on crackers

Kwee-Jack offers two different kinds of smoked salmon, one that has been smoked with heat and also cold smoked style.  All of our smoked salmon is the wild Alaskan sockeye salmon caught by our small boats and sent off to an award-winning smoker to be turned into a delicious treat. Read on for more information about each type of smoked salmon we offer.

Nova Cold-Smoked Salmon

This melt in your mouth, sliced Nova is achieved by brining, skinning and cold-smoking our boneless, sushi-grade wild Alaskan sockeye filets to achieve a delicate, subtle flavor and texture that is versatile and well-suited to any meal of the day.

Comes frozen, thinly-sliced with skin removed, on a serving board, in ready-to-eat 4 ounce vacuum-packages. Custom smoked by a nationally award winning smokehouse.

Traditional Smoked Wild Alaskan Salmon

This traditional smoked salmon is achieved by brining, portioning and hot-smoking our boneless, sushi-grade wild Alaskan sockeye filets. "Hot-smoked" is not a flavor; it simply means that carefully controlled heat was used in the smoking process to achieve tender, flaky salmon with a distinct smoky flavor that pairs well with wine, cheese, salad and more.

Comes frozen, in ready-to-eat vacuum-packaged portions of 4-6 ounces each. Custom smoked by a nationally award winning smokehouse.

Nova Cold-Smoked and Traditional Smoked both contain:

Ingredients: wild Alaskan sockeye salmon (fish), organic dark brown sugar, natural sea salt, natural wood smoke (contains no nitrates or artificial preservatives)

Refrigeration: Keep frozen. Thaw under refrigeration. Once thawed, keep refrigerated at 38°F or below for safety. Once opened, use within 4 days.
